Our Client is an independent marine & engineering consultancy and survey organisation. With more marine and engineering specialists in more locations around the globe, the company balances exceptional responsiveness with on-the-ground expertise where it is needed. Since 1979, they have been tackling the most urgent and complex challenges across the international shipping, oil & gas, renewables and marine assurance and risk sectors.

They are looking for a committed and professional individual to provide support to the London office & to colleagues operating around the world.

Key duties:
  • Administering user accounts in AD, Azure, MS Office 365, ERP & CRM systems
  • Manage, prioritise & escalate IT support issues via the Service Desk
  • Provide desktop and application support
  • Setup & support AV equipment in meeting rooms
  • Printer maintenance
  • Create & maintain user and/or system documentation / diagrams
  • Create & maintain training material
  • Enforce & comply with operating procedures & security policies
  • Procure & configure IT equipment, laptops, mobile phones etc.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (the majority of this role will be user focussed)

Skilled in the following:
  • MS Azure & MS Office 365 administration
  • MS Office 365 Security & Compliance Centre
  • MS Windows Server technologies
  • MS Active Directory, Group Policies, OUs, etc
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP network topologies, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.
  • VPN technologies advantageous
  • 365 SharePoint Services are useful
  • Any ERP or CRM skills are welcome

Desired qualifications

5 GCSEs ideally at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) including maths and English.
