The specialist duties and responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Executive are to:
  • Contribute to the development of email communications to achieve the objectives of the NCFE business plan and marketing objectives
  • Contributing to the maintenance of the NCFE brand in accordance with branding guidelines and the company vision and values
  • Maintain and update the content on the company's websites through effective management of helpdesk tasks received from the wider business and tasks from Digital Marketing Manager
  • Liaise with external support and maintenance web suppliers to resolve support and maintenance issues
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Officers to support planning and scheduling of campaign emails
  • Prepare and test campaign and service emails and enewsletters to ensure that customers receive correct and timely email communications, across all brands
  • Create targeted marketing lists within CRM to support campaigns for all brands
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to work on ad hoc projects, such as SEO, PPC and content reviews
  • Identify opportunities for automated and triggered emarketing campaigns to provide timely and relevant communications to customers to help drive sales
  • Support the Marketing Team using CRM as a tool to measure the success of marketing activity, including campaigns and events
  • Ensuring that web-based marketing activity and handling of customer data is performed in line with current legislation and best practices

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Excellent computer skills, in particular specific knowledge of web browsers and web management software systems (CMS) and email service providers
  • An ability to learn new technical processes quickly and intuitively
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with good levels of grammar and spelling
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Demonstrable word processing, data entry, spreadsheet and email skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • An understanding of the mechanics of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Ability to develop and maintain working relationships, including networking, with a range of contacts and suppliers
  • Ability to identify and act upon business opportunities

Desired qualifications

  • A - C GCSE grades in maths and English (or the equivalent)
  • Level 3 qualification in Marketing or another relevant area
  • Relevant experience and a proven passion for digital and social media
