An exciting opportunity has arisen within our apprenticeship programme, to learn and develop a career in audit management.

Do you have an analytical mind and feel you could articulate any issues raised simply and effectively, then this could be a role for you.

You will be working within a small team of experienced auditors, who's role is to check and advise on compliance to various departments.

In doing this we help CIOs and IT departments in enterprise and corporate organisations maximise productivity and the business value of IT for internal and external users. Standards and regulatory guidelines. Although we are a small team we have representation in UK, Germany and South Africa with additional support from our France Quality Team this is a great opportunity for you to learn from trained Lead Auditors.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Learning from and assisting subject matter experts who support and maintain a number of ISO certifications that Computacenter currently hold
  • Perform credible internal audits under the supervision of a trained Lead Auditor and predominately supporting our ISO9001 certification, you will learn to identify non-conformances, produce comprehensive and clear reports and create corrective action plans which will be followed up with the business to address any actions in a timely manner through to validation and closure
  • As a team we strive for continual improvement whether it is against business processes or our own, so we are always eager to get new team members involved in reviewing our processes to make sure they are current, relevant and up to date
  • You will be communicating with different levels of the business and in doing so, you will develop key relationships and gain an understanding of how that business area works to support you with your audit activities. You will also be involved in customer audits and third-party assessments
  • A training programme will be created to ensure your development needs are met, developing you into a competent internal auditor learning alongside the very best subject matter experts (Lead Auditors)

Desired qualifications

GCSE: Grade A*-C+/9-5 (or equivalent) in English and maths are essential and Level 3 qualification or equivalent.

Future prospects

The possibility of being taken on as a permanent employee within the business on completion of the programme.
