We are looking to recruit an apprenticeweb-developer who is showing promise and ambition to quickly become a full-stack developer over a period of two to three years. Customer service is paramount to us, so the individual should be above all personable and able to communicate at all levels.

You must have at the very least a basic understanding of SEO which we can build upon with practical training and through occasional workshops. You will receive thorough training in optimisation techniques, theory and practice, working within an accomplished, professional team of developers and copywriters.

You won't need to be a designer but you will need to have the ability to work closely with our superb design team and contribute ideas and technical solutions.

Great attention to detail is fundamental.

You will also need to be flexible, hard working and able to deal with complex issues which involve careful thought and consideration.

We like our staff to be friendly with ability, drive and the willingness to learn.

An ability to stick to a brief is required, along with the initiative and enterprise to contribute ideas and develop projects.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop performance websites according to the project brief
  • Meeting with the designer, marketing manager, IT manager, directors and other team members to establish new and ongoing projects and initiatives
  • Working in a close-knit creative partnership with the designer, marketing manager, other web developers and directors to generate workable concepts and ideas
  • Assist the company's search engine optimisation (SEO) efforts
  • Develop ideas/concepts alongside other technical team members
  • Working on several projects at once, under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Keeping up to date with new trends, technologies and the latest best practice techniques
  • Reviewing competitor activity, industry forums and databanks to keep abreast of developments and initiatives
  • As a member of the technical team, to contribute to the overall strategic planning of projects
  • Support project documentation and administrative tasks
