Time Electrical Wholesale is an independent business that trades across the UK to Electrical contractors and customers in the construction industry. We have a great stock range of products from reputable manufactures who can offer full support and structure to all our products sold!


DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our busy warehouse team within the Medway City Estate. This will be a busy and interesting role where you will be able to learn all aspects of working within this industry from stock taking to delivering and receiving orders.

Main duties include:

Taking receipt of deliveries & booking in stock 
Preparing Orders to be sent to customers 
Updating records on PC 
Regular Stock taking General maintenance on the warehouse 
Participating in preparations for special displays 
Testing and quality checking equipment
Assisting on the counter, where required.

WAGE
Salary from £140 per week. Based on £4 – £5 per hour, depending on experience.

HOURS
Working 10am to 5:30pm per week. (based on 35 per week)

SKILLS REQUIRED
Able to work on own initiative 
Computer literate

Team player 
Problem Solver 
Physically fit

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum of GCSE Grade D or equivalent.

TRAINING PROVIDED
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
