Main responsibilities:
  • Applying Security Policy and associated processes
  • Working as part of the incident response process, helping take remedial action if required
  • Working with the project delivery lifecycle to help ensure projects deliver secure solutions that meet defined security principles
  • Assisting in the delivery of the cyber security awareness and training program

  • Basic knowledge of the security aspects of software, hardware and operating systems
  • Some knowledge of key techniques involved in defending an organisation against common exploits and attack methods
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good time management

  • Keen to learn new skills
  • Enthusiastic and passionate


Desired qualifications

  • An A Level in ICT
  • An International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT
  • A Level 3 Apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • A BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)
  • Equivalent qualifications will be considered/accepted


Future prospects

You couldhave the opportunity to gain further progression into the IT team at HL.

£16,000 per annum, rising by £500 every 6 months.
