Situated at our Head Office we are recruiting for a Finance Apprentice to support the Finance Team and assist with keeping financial records up to date and correct. Completing daily, weekly and monthly tasks to assist with the smooth workflow in the department.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Answering the phone and sending emails to customers and suppliers.

- Assist in the processing of sales/purchase transactions on to the system.

- Assist with month end reconciliations.

- Liaise with internal departments on financial issues.

- Assist Payroll & HR Manager with ad hoc duties.

- Purchase weekly orders for refreshments/cleaning products for the building. - Reconciliation of petty cash when required.

- Assist with weekly/monthly reporting.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

- At least 5 GCSE's above grade C, including Maths and English.

- Studying towards AAT or wanting to pursue this qualification.

- Ideally a basic knowledge of accounting software, although training will be given. - Microsoft Excel user.

- Attention to detail, keeping clear and accurate accounting records.

- Able to learn quickly and on the job, adapting to the business needs.
