Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Senior Surveyor with inspections of properties and estates
  • Collecting and recording data in a timely and accurate manner in order to support the planning and delivery of cost effective maintenance projects
  • Responsible for checking and processing invoices, dealing with and resolving any queries that arise, including liaising with colleagues, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of efficient administrative, monitoring and reporting systems to ensure that Asset Investment services are delivered effectively
  • Ensuring that Fire Risk Assessments are completed in a timely manner and that all recommended actions are recorded, tracked and reported to Management in accordance with the Association's policy and procedures
  • Dealing effectively and promptly with tenant and stakeholder enquiries about asset investment, planned and cyclical maintenance
  • Assisting improvement our services by promptly undertaking customer satisfaction surveys, collecting recording the information and helping to analyse the results
  • Providing a general administration service to support the immediate team, to include data input, filing, archive management, organising meetings and preparing minutes in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensuring the Associations asbestos register is kept up to date
  • Supporting with contract administration duties for all projects
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress and performance of contractors undertaking the work
  • Maintain detailed project files for audit and to support the effective operation of the Associations information management systems through the timely and accurate input of data, works orders, and operation of administrative systems
  • Ensure that all services are carried out in accordance with Connects Policies and Procedures, Standing Orders and Financial Regulations and other relevant regulations, legislation and statutory requirements including but not exclusively: Planning, Building Control, CDM regulations, HSE, Party Wall Act, Gas Regulations, and any other specialist trade and/or professional codes of practice which are relevant

Desired qualifications

  • Educated to good standard of English and maths and preferably educated to A-Level or equivalent qualifications (desirable) along with whatever other qualification the course requires
