Apprentice IT Technician
We are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working apprentices to join our team, working in our Dundee and St Andrews store. We are seeking apprentices who are team players with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude. You must be enthusiastic about technology and work well under pressure.
Role Responsibilities:
* Dealing with customers face to face and on the telephone.
* Stocktaking and replenishment.
* Providing an outstanding customer service experience.
* Diagnosing software issues including virus removal, Windows and OSX installation.
* Fault finding on laptops, PCs and mobile devices and carrying out the relevant repair.
* Building new PCs and upgrading hard drives and memory.
* Replacing broken LCDs and digitizers on laptops, mobile phones, and tablets.
* Swapping batteries, charging ports and other serviceable components.
Skills:
* Hardworking with an eager to learn new skills.
* Good customer service skills.
* Able to multi-task and work to deadlines.
* Confident dealing with customers, especially if there is an issue.
* Good with your hands - be able to work with small fragile components.
Company Background:
We are a well-established computer, tablet and mobile phone repair centre with stores in St Andrews and Dundee. We work very hard to make sure the customer is satisfied with their experience in our stores and are proud of our reputation. We repair all types of devices from all major manufacturers and our team carries out all aspects of repair from basic software to in-depth board level repairs. We also work closely with most of the local companies who are in the same field as us and they rely on us to outsource their more difficult repairs.
