We are currently supporting a thriving Training Provider in the North West who have won contracts to deliver 12 week short courses.
To support the growth we are looking for a Performance Manager with experience of managing a team of Distance Learning/Online Learning Assessors.
The Performance Manager will form part of Management Team and will report into the Operations Manager
This company offer a starting salary of up to GBP30000, Pension Scheme and 31 days holidays

Typical duties and responsibilities of the Performance Manager will include:
- To lead and line manage a team of remote assessors, including all appraisals, mentoring and performance management
- Implement and manage a weekly and monthly reporting structure that enables effective performance management of the delivery team
- To produce accurate and timely visual reports and dashboards on department performance that are compiled and submitted on a weekly basis
- Managing the schedules and allocation of work to the team of Assessors
- Monitor the productivity, performance and output of the assessors Induction and training of new starts
- Manage learner progress on a daily basis, ensuring all learners are on target for timely achievement, highlight and resolve any areas at risk
- Ensure that all learners enrolled correctly onto the distance learning programmes
- Overall responsibility and accountability for assessor/learner relationships, ensuring clients receive ongoing support and their queries, issues and complaints are resolved quickly and efficiently
- Prepare learner files for completion, ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
- Monitor the performance and development of staff and ensure that staff training, reviews and appraisals are implemented in line with company procedures
- Contribute to business planning, self-assessment, OFSTED visits and performance monitoring
- To carry out audits of assessor feedback ensuring high quality of teaching and learning

Skills, experience and qualifications required for the Performance/Apprenticeship Manager:
- Previous experience of managing team of Apprenticeship Trainers/Assessors
- Previous track record of managing performance through people
- Experience of using E Learning Platforms is highly desirable
- Ideally be Assessor, IQA Qualified
- Excellent all IT Skills, including a good level of using MS Packages including Excel

This position is available immediately. This position is being managed by Pertemps Newcastle.
