The role is new for the Hexham branch and comes with structured training and support from colleagues assisting qualified rural Surveyors with the aim of gaining relevant experience and competence to complete APC at the end of the Degree study period.

The position would provide an excellent opportunity to join our diverse team and be involved in a wide range of work which includes administeringRural Subsidies, Estate Management, Valuation ofland and property, Compiling reports for the valuation for mortgages, rent reviews and investment potentialadvising on property values, land purchase, tenure issues and related legislation, Utilities, Property Sales and Lettings etc. It will be office based with external supervised visits for valuation and client meetings and the chance to start the APC with a supervisor in the third year of work/study.

It is a varied role in a team, working onprojects as experience grows throughout the programme.

Desired qualifications

Entry requirements for this Apprenticeship Standard are as follows:
  • 3 A levels at grades typically CCC (96-104 UCAS points) or equivalent BTEC (MMM)
  • A minimum of grade C/4 in GCSEs (or equivalents) English and maths
  • A Level 3apprenticeship in a construction or property related discipline or experience will also be considered

Future prospects

Support and guidance to pursue a career with a particular area of expertise such as Landlord and Tenant, Sales and Acquisitions, Estate Management along with the possibility of working towards Associate and beyond.

Things to consider

Driving will be part of the role.
