Prowired Electrical is an Approved NICEIC Electrical Contractor. We undertake all types of work from small jobs around the home to large housing developments.

DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to establish and develop a range of administrative skills with an established electrical firm.
As the apprentice office administrator, you will play a key role in contributing to the ongoing success of the company by ensuring that processes continue to run smoothly behind the scenes.
From dealing with customer enquiries and scheduling deliveries for our electricians, to keeping our stationery supplies in stock, you will not get bored and there will be scope for your role to evolve with experience.

This is a varied and busy role. Tasks will include – but are not limited to – the following:
-Answer and direct phone calls
-Organise and schedule appointments
-Write and distribute email, letters and forms
-Develop and maintain a filling system
-Update and maintain office policies and procedures
-Order office supplies
-Book travel arrangements
-Help with ordering materials and sending purchase orders
-Regularly speaking to the electricians and helping them organising deliveries
-Liaise with the directors and staff to handle requests and queries
-Help and organise customer care defects
WAGE
£168.75 per week with scope for more subject to performance reviews
HOURS
37.5 paid hours per week:
Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
Includes an half – hour (unpaid) lunch break each day
SKILLS REQUIRED
The successful candidate should have good customer service skills, and good ICT skills. Previous use of Excel spreadsheets is desirable.
PERSONAL QUALITIES
We are looking for somebody who is willing to learn and be a key part of the team and brand we are proud of.
The successful candidate should be polite, punctual and presentable.
Offer of the apprenticeship will be subject to a DBS check.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Maths – GCSE Grade C / 4 minimum
English – GCSE Grade C / 4 minimum
TRAINING PROVIDED
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
ADDITIONAL DETAIL
As of 1st April 2019, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.90 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
