The job role entails Electrical Low Voltage Power Design for Network Rail E&P including both AC and DC power systems.

You will be responsible for
  • Producing electrical power designs in line with BS7671 and Network Rail standards
  • Report writing
  • Electrical calculations
  • Designers risk assessments
  • Technical CAD drawings, under the guidance of the lead electrical designer and electrical CRE

You will also undertake site surveys to review electrical infrastructure and gather information which will feed into design works.

In addition to this you will also produce As Built documentation such as technical drawings from site construction information.

Desired qualifications

To be successful in this role you'll need to have completed an Intermediate Apprenticeship framework (Level 3) in a (electrical bias) engineering framework. And be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work in a fast pace environment. We are looking for someone who pays attention to detail, act as a change agent for continual improvement and is motivated to learn and develop their own skills and knowledge.
