Emblem Workwear has over 30 years’ experience in producing a variety of workwear for professionals. We offer a wide range of services to meet any price –point, from cost effective to transfer printing to high end Embroidery.
Description of Vacancy
Embelm Workwear is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team within our Rochester (Medway City Estate) branch. The candidate with be motivated, methodical with good attention to detail. Role with be varied and involve working between the store, the administration offices and the warehouse.
The role can be varied, but the main duties with include: –
Dealing with Telephone enquiries and orders received over the telephone, taking messages and passing to correct colleague.
Meeting and greeting customers that visit the shop, inputting data
Processing Orders and updating clients records on the computer system
Folding & bagging garments
Assist with producing and labelling garments/boxes
Notify customers when orders are ready for collection, sending emails.
Entering payments and processing invoices
Preparing images for print using bespoke software
Wage
£136.50 per week, based on 35 hours a week.
(A uniform will also be provided for the successful candidate.)
Hours
Working 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. 35 hours a week (with 1hr unpaid for lunch)
Skills Required
Good customer service
Well presented
Interest or experience in using Abobe illustrator or Coral draw if an advantage, but not essential.
Personal Qualities
Good attention to detail
Organised
Tidy worker
Methodical
Qualifications Required
Minimum achieved Grade D or equivalent in English and Maths.
Training Provided
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
