Business Administration Apprentice (Level 2/Intermediate)
APC Technology Group is leading global distributor in the electrical component industry who provides the design, specification and distribution of specialist electronic components and systems, lighting technologies and connectivity products to help our customers produce better equipment, improve efficiency and achieve superior performance.
Description of Vacancy
We at APC are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated apprentice to join our successful administration team within our offices in Rochester (on the Medway City Estate). It will comprise of general office duties, use of our bespoke CRM software and regular communication between our busy teams.
Main duties to include: –
Answering the phone to customers, colleagues and suppliers
Contacting customers, with order updates, query resolution.
Filing documents electronically.
Scanning of information into correct folder.
Generating quotations through a bespoke CRM system.
Develop relationships with both customers and suppliers.
Order placement for both customers and suppliers.
Participate in team meetings and process reviews.
Liaise with different departments and business sectors.
This will be a varied role, with the prospect of further development and employment for the right candidate.
£140 per week, (based on £4 per hour, working 35 paid hours a week)
Working Monday- Friday 9-5 pm, with an hour lunch between 12-1pm.

GCSE grades 9-4 (A* to C) in Maths and English or equivalent qualifications in these subjects.
Will consider exceptional candidates who have
GCSE grade 3 (D) in Maths and English or equivalent qualifications in these subjects.
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
