Rural GP practice providing healthcare to 14,500 patients in the Tenterden and Surrounding areas. Wide range of services including GP, treatment rooms and nursing services.


DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
Variety of patient facing tasks including making appointments, dealing with patients tasks queries and requests .
Providing administrative takes to GPs and other members of the team.

Actioning Doctors requests Dealing with patients by phone or face to face 
Filing / note pulling 
Generating letters and forms 
Appointment booking 
Register new temporary and permanent patients to the practice and deal with associated documentation with the regulatory authorities 
Patient record summarizing / scanning 
Other duties as required

HOURS
37.5 hours a week
2 X 15 minute breaks (am & pm) daily
1 hr lunch break daily

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
A* – D GCSE English and Maths

TRAINING PROVIDED
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
