The purpose of this position is to work within the Project Delivery Team to ensure that key project deliverables and functionalities are tested thoroughly and against in scope business requirements, and the benefits that are delivered are fit for purpose and feed into the overall strategic plan for the business.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
  • Testing of systems and applications against test cases
  • Delivery of test scripts against requirements definitions
  • Assessment of use cases and user stories as part of the Project Delivery team
  • Experience of working across multiple teams and departments with a diverse set of skills
  • Experience of working across multiple projects with a diverse set of demands and requirements
  • You will be a very good communicator with excellent team working skills
  • Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • You will be able to work as part of a dynamic business and technology team in both an operational and project-based environment
  • Proven track record of delivering quality, robust and resilient service to a demanding customer community to challenging timescales and priorities
  • Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of NCP colleagues by checking equipment or systems of work are safe and without risks to health, there are arrangements to ensure the safe use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances and there is guidance, training and supervision for all colleagues
  • Responsible for ensuring any place of work under their control is safe and without risks to health, has a means of entry / exit that is safe and without risks and the working environment has adequate welfare facilities. And to ensure so far as is reasonable practicable the safety of other persons attending NCP sites such as contractors, visitors, general public and clients

Desired qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English and maths)
  • A-Level or equivalent in computer science is desirable
  • A-Level or equivalent in information communication technology is desirable
  • A-Level or equivalent in mathematics is desirable
