Duties/responsibilities to include:
  • Assisting the group executive manager to administer the HRfunction for the group, including assisting the group executive manager with overall co-ordination of HRfor the Magnavale Group
  • Acting as the HRadministrator for Rick Bestwick Limited, working with the group executive manager and the site manager (dealing with day-to-day HRadministration and the maintenance of the company's HRrecords)
  • Audit of personnel files
  • Re-organisation and maintenance of HRand personnel files
  • Ensure all job descriptions and contracts are accurate and up-to-date
  • Maintain Tand Asystem
  • Assist with the implementation and management of the group HRmanagement software
  • Ensure all disciplinary action is logged
  • Create and maintain a HRcalendar
  • Provide KPIs relating to HR
  • Enforce the company handbook and managers guide
  • Produce all HRrelated correspondence/documentation
  • Manage absenteeism
  • Conduct disciplinary investigations
  • Attend and take minutes of disciplinary hearings, liaising with the companies legal advisors, staff, and management regarding human resource related queries
  • HRadministration - i.e. filing, setting up new starters, processing leavers
  • Manage the employee's review and appraisal processes
  • Assist management in recruitment, development, disciplinary, and termination of staff
  • Carry out human resource duties required by management dealing with employee liability claims
  • Assisting the group executive manager with office administration duties, includingproviding administrative and receptionist support to magnavale head office, including answering telephone calls, maintaining diaries, arranging appointments, taking messages, typing/word processing, filing, organising meetings (including board meetings), taking minutes, booking transport and accommodation, managing databases, implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems, liaising with staff, suppliers and customers, and preparing letters, presentations and reports, managing correspondence (in/out)
  • Handling all incoming and outgoing mail acting as receptionist for the Magnavale head office ordering, maintaining, and controlling the Chesterfield site stationery
  • Assisting the group executive manager with business administration duties, includingvarious administrative duties as required in support of the CEO, the board, and the executive management of the Magnavale Group
  • Arranging, attending, and minuting meetings
  • Preparing timely and accurate reports, agendas, board packs, and other paperwork as required
  • Maintaining records to comply with all health and safety requirements of the job and to consider the health and safety of others while carrying out their job
  • Comply with the requirements of the company integrated management system procedures and instructions as it affects/influences their work
  • Comply with the company environmental requirements and to dispose of waste according to company environment policies
  • Comply with company rules and policies in relation to data protection and confidentiality as it applies to their job
  • Carry out other duties within reason as may be required from time to time by the company
