Incorporated in 1991 and acquired by private investors in 1998, our client was the first IP Centrex cloud solution provider in the UK. They operate on their Broadsoft platform which currently can support in excess of 6 million customers. Their Hosted telephony business has grown by 23% in the last 12 months and they are one of the leading providers of communications technology, specialising in Cloud Telephony and Unified Communications.

This is an opportunity to be part of a team which is responsible for managing the end to end provisioning process from receipt of order to the activation date.

Key duties:
  • Validation of order forms from both direct customers and channel partners
  • Building hosted VoIP systems and programming of features including Call Recording, Hunt Groups and IVRs
  • DSL/SDSL, Connectivity and PSTN ordering process
  • Creating new accounts and users on multiple portal/platform
  • Providing sales support, obtaining information to resolve customer queries
  • Liaising with both internal and external customers/suppliers to ensure a seamless transition for the end user
  • To submit single line and multi line number portability requests to external partners and manage the request through the submission process. This is whilst maintaining constant contact with the end user and providing regular updates
  • Provide accurate and detailed communication to the customer at every stage of the provisioning cycle
  • To handle incoming calls that come through on the provisioning hunt group in a professional manner
  • Undertake other related duties to meet the needs of the Operations Team

  • Experience of working in the telecoms industry is preferred


Desired qualifications

  • To be a Project Manager Apprentice, you will need to be ideally educated to A-Level or equivalent standard
  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade A* - C/9 - 4including maths and English is also required


Future prospects

This position will be reviewed once the apprenticeship is over.
