Horticulture Apprenticeship Tutor - 12 Month FTC - South London, Crawley and surrounding area

About Us

Would you like to be a part of the world's largest global youth movement and arguably the most recognisable and iconic of all charity brands? Central YMCA's mission is to create, provide and promote opportunities to develop in mind, body and spirit, especially for the young and those in need.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprenticeship Tutor, to join our team of professionals delivering Horticulture (Level 2) in Surrey, West Sussex, South London as well as Brighton and Portsmouth. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract, with the potential to extend. A completion and enrolment bonus is also available.

About the Role

As Horticulture Apprenticeship Tutor, you will deliver and promote the Horticulture Apprenticeships to support the Charity's vision and Training strategy. You will effectively manage a caseload of learners at various employer locations within a geographical area, assessing and coaching all learners individually or within a group.

About You

If you have a passion and desire to make a difference, and feel that you have the skills we are seeking along with a relevant teaching or training qualification (e.g. PTTLS, DTTLS, PGCE), and can evidence your ability to assess effectively and to prepare relevant materials, then look no further!

You should be occupationally competent with a proven track record within the world of horticulture, with the skills and abilities to deliver the Horticulture Level 2 apprenticeship, including the PA1 and PA6 spraying qualification.

You will also be able to manage apprenticeships for the lifecycle of their programme, from sign-up to qualification, including all associated administration.

This really is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and do something great for yourself - and for others. If this sounds right for you click apply now and register your details.
