The assistant's responsibilities would be as below, but not limited to the below
  • Responsible for contractors signing in and out of site
  • Responsible for completion of site diary
  • Assisting with processing of all H&S documentation from subcontractors, RAMS etc.
  • Assisting with H&S management including toolbox talks and general safety on site
  • Assisting with keeping the site clean and tidy, including managing barriers, Heras fencing and the secure site perimeter
  • Assisting with arranging site signage and notice boards being updated
  • Assisting with deliveries and collections of materials from site
  • Managing storage of the materials
  • Reviewing programme and works with site manager to confirm no delays
  • Managing drawings and processing drawing revisions in the site office
  • Taking regular progression photos of site and uploading to server
  • Be able to use basic skills on PC with Outlook, Excel and Word


Requirements and prospects

  • Possible experience of working on construction sites


Personal qualities

  • Driven, work as part of a site team, methodical with paperwork and drawings, willing to learn


Desired qualifications

  • Prior Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Construction would be preferred


Future prospects

  • Once completed the position will be reviewed and if successful, awarded a full-time permanent role within the company and further progression


Things to consider

  • We secure contracts for sites nationwide so you will need to be prepared to travel to these and work away from home, depending on the distance from the office. Accommodation will be provided, if necessary
