The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to enable the execution and fulfilment of contractual sales transactions to satisfy Anglo American's and customers' contractual obligations.
A typical day1. Product Shipment and Invoicing:
- Support the preparation of shipping documentation as required, e.g air waybills, certificate of analysis, packing lists, et al
- Prepare shipment notifications for customers and/or agents
- Assist with the administration of any invoice generation and preparation for internal and external purposes.
- Support the organisation of insurance for shipments as necessary.
2. Data Entry:
- Assist with any data input into company systems in a timely manner, as such information becomes available from third party sources
- Update records for actual delivery and arrival dates, as directed by the Manager, Customer Service Operations
- Maintain accurate records within relevant systems
- Run specified reports from systems and circulate to others as required
3. Customer Services:
- Assist with the facilitation and coordination of customers and supplier's queries on Invoices to ensure prompt resolution
- Support the Manager, Customer Service Operations with any queries on shipping documentation with customers and /or agent
- You can leverage knowledge of Microsoft packages
- You can learn SAP user skills including understanding of SAP HR modules

- Three A-Levels at grades A*-C (or 240 UCAS points or new tariff equivalent)
- Good knowledge of IT packages e.g Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Sheets etc.
- Five GCSE grades C - A* (or 4-9), including Maths and English
- Level 3 qualification (BTEC, NVQ or equivalent)

Included in qualification:- Training on the 18 month Standard Level 3 Business Administrator (BA3) apprenticeship.

After your Business Administration apprenticeship progress into HR, Recruitment, Sales, Marketing & PR, Real Estate, Personal Assistant, Office Management, Business Management. Most of the above can be completed in a higher-level qualification.
