Responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Identify the need for system and equipment updates
  • Co-ordinate and provide prioritised technical support and advice to clients
  • Ensure adequate arrangements are in place for the security of data, systems and hardware
  • Executing technical vulnerability assessments and collating required reports.
  • Cracking technical security fundamentals
  • Working with cyber security operations
  • Providing regular reports to the Head of Service Delivery
  • Escalating significant support issues to the service provider aligned with the incident management process
  • Supporting teams on technical aspects of the various programmes of work

Desired qualifications

  • An A- Level or equivalentin IT or tech related

  • An International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT

  • A Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject

There may be a full time opportunity available upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
