What does the apprenticeship include?
Project Management is the integration of the outputs from other functions, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver attainable goals. It is a vital capability for BAE Systems. The Company's success is predicted by the basic requirement to deliver to its customers those products, services and capabilities they specify and expect, to time, cost and quality.
The Project Management Higher Apprentice scheme is designed to develop A-level qualified people to become our Project Management capability of the future.  The scheme is devised to mature  project management knowledge, skills and behaviours through placements, over a specific period of time and across many different areas of the business.  These will include risk, project controls, planning and quality. Upon exit from the scheme Higher Apprentices will take up a role within Projects, Project Controls or Planning.
You'll be joining Submarines - Combat Systems - The part of BAE Systems that has been tasked with turning Britain's future defence ambitions into reality. We're the people who are building the next generation of submarines for the Royal Navy.
