What will the apprentice be doing?
Our Software Testing Apprenticeship is ideal for those who wish to pursue an IT/computing career and learn whilst earning at the same time. You will apply the technical skills that you learn in the classroom into the workplace and could work in a range of testing roles at CGI. You can expect to study modules such as the below plus more!
· Testing Tools & Testing Concepts
· ISTQB Foundation Software Tester
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You'll study for a Level 4 qualification with our training provider, Firebrand training. You can expect to study a range of modules that will benefit your IT career! What's even better is this learning is complemented by on-the-job training on real projects at CGI. One of the best thing about joining us is that while you may start in one area, the opportunity to move internally is huge, so you can take control of your career from day one.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of your apprenticeship, you will have achieved a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Software Testing. You have a permanent contract from day one so you continue to work for CGI after you have completed your apprenticeship. You'll also benefit from a competitive starting salary and all the support you need to succeed. We'll even provide the course resources and materials required!
