This is a Test & support role within a very busy technical department. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following key tasks:
- Assessing bug reports raised by clients
- Determine the most appopriate testing process required to replicate the issue
- Performing the necessary tests using various testing tools on various systems, to replicate the issue
- Validating the issue exists, understanding the systems in use and how each system could be a potential root cause
- Communicating with, and supporting and providing technical detail to other departments
- Communicating with and reporting back to clients
- Assisting with the development of new testing processes
- Understanding client requirements and how to break work down in order to provide accurate estimations
- Installing and testing third party modules
