An opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to join the Exams Team in Community Learning and Skills (CLS), based in Margate, covering the Thanet District.
Responsible for supporting and delivering the end to end examination process for all CLS learners on Accredited courses.
DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
To support and assist the delivery of the end to end process of all CLS Examinations.
This includes data input and exam administration.
To provide administrative support, collating/directing documentation/communications in order to support the exam process.
To support the delivery of examinations, preparing, filing and dispatching documents, results and letters.
Undertake the photocopying of relevant exam material and other documentation to ensure sufficient resources are available to learners and invigilators for exam purposes.
To assist in the preparation of exam rooms, exam day documentation and stationary. Support with exam invigilation when required.
£146 per week
Rising to £167 per week subject to performance against objectives
Monday to Friday
9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday
9am to 4.30pm on Friday
Half hour lunch daily

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
