DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
We are looking for an apprentice to join our busy team in Ashford. You will start off as an office junior, but we will support you with progressing internally.

You will be supporting and assisting the CEO with correspondence and personal diary arrangements with absolute discretion always.

Supporting and assisting with all aspects of the CEO work as and when required Anticipating travel needs and planning the travel itinerary of the CEO ensuring all relevant travel requirements and booking are organised to optimise use of the CEO diaries
Producing various documentation including and not limited to communications, appointments, diary management, agendas, minutes, meeting notes and key paperwork relating to meetings
Organising and prioritising tasks and manage complex delegated projects Coordinating Executive Board meetings across all locations, preparing communications and ensuring distribution to all relevant staff
Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority
Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff
Handling incoming email & post, corresponding on behalf of CEO and the directors Attending meetings and functions as required which may include out of hours working


WAGE
£156.00 a week

HOURS
Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
(15min break AM, ½ hour lunch & 15min break PM)
40 hours per week
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays


SKILLS REQUIRED
Possess good IT skills – Outlook & knowledge of Excel are essential
High level numeracy skills for entering, checking, analysing data and solving problems Previous sales order processing experience
Organised and able to multi-task & manage multiple email chains proficiently
Able to use own initiative
Good analytical skills
A keen eye for detail and be able to maintain accuracy in all documents whilst working under pressure, to specific time frames
Experience within a sales/product environment would be an advantage

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
A* – C Maths and English or equivalent is desirable


TRAINING PROVIDED
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
