Having recently acquired a number of new licences leading to an expansion into new markets, Ancestors of Dover Ltd are looking to recruit a number of new staff to join the factory team. staff to join the factory team.

Travel Information: Ancestors of Dover is in the heart of Folkestone just off of Dover road a minute away from the 102 Joyes Road bus stop.


DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
We currently have an opportunity for a warehouse operator to join our small team in Folkestone, Kent. We require a warehouse worker to assist with general warehouse tasks.

Dealing with goods in- Unloading containers

Picking and packing goods, ready to ship to the customer

Maintaining warehouses

Assisting with stock takes

Casting with pewter and resin

Operating various machinery


WAGE
£3.90 per hour rising depending on experience.


HOURS
Monday-Friday 9:00-17:30


SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to perform manual handling (Heavy lifting.)
Good communication
Attention to detail


PERSONAL QUALITIES
A polite friendly manner
Ability to work well in a team


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
A-C GCSE
TRAINING PROVIDED
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION
