We now have a vacancy at our Stoke on Trent office for a n Apprentice in our Customer Services Department Full training will be provided in house and we will also arrange for you to be placed as an apprentice on an NVQ course which will enable you to work towards a recognised business qualification.

Duties will include:

* Providing help and advice to customers

* Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face.

* Maintaining accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers.

* Record, report and resolve all customer complaints.

* Completing daily customer reports

* Assisting with weekly/ monthly reporting

* Updating spreadsheets

* General office duties and assisting the team where necessary

Skills and experience required:

* GCSE Maths and English to a recognised pass level (or equivalent)

* Some previous office work experience would be an advantage

* Excellent customer service skills

* Good IT and data entry skills

* Keen to learn

* A "can do" positive attitude

* Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers

* Adaptable and flexible attitude

Salary GBP4.10 per hour with quarterly performance / salary reviews

Office hours: Monday - Friday (Apply online only) with one hour for lunch

20 days holiday plus statutory Bank Holidays
