As a Business Excellence Apprentice, you will support the Business Excellence Team to deliver excellent services to internal teams within SHG.

Playing a key role in the planning, organisation and communication of key events for staff or customers, you will contribute to the running and taking part in corporate projects and service reviews and support the Business Analysis process work undertaken for corporate projects.

Undertaking research and analysis of competitors and client groups for bids and tenders on behalf of the Business Development Team, you will assist with the collation of key documentation and information for bids and tenders and horizon scan for new business opportunities on relevant portals.

You must also support the work of the new Digital Service Designers in key tasks within the Digital Transformation Project and assist with customer involvement activities as required (e.g. logistics/arrangements, refreshments, expenses, supporting any visits/buildings).

No specific experience is required, but we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and the aptitude and discipline to undertake a relevant qualification at the appropriate level (linked to current qualifications and experience). A good working knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office applications is required, and you must have the ability to work co-operatively as part of a team but also on your own initiative.
