Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprentice
Life is too short not to have the best. At Cocoba we believe in creating great quality chocolate products and drinks to enjoy. We search the globe for the highest quality cocoa beans and best tasting chocolate (it’s tough job, but someone has to do it).
Cocoba launched a test pop up kiosk in Brent Cross Shopping Centre in October 2012, and a little over a year later, opened the first café in Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent. Then, in September 2016, Cocoba opened their production unit in Northfleet, Kent, where they make over 150 delicious chocolate products, which are available to buy in store and online.
DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
An excellent opportunity to work with an established chocolate manufacturing and distribution company in Northfleet. Join a small friendly and supportive team who will enable you to develop your skills in the warehouse and distribution sector. This is a varied role in a busy warehouse environment, providing accurate distribution of goods to customers and demonstrating care and attention to handle stock and assets throughout.
The role will include:
Managing orders from both office and online
Picking, packing and dispatching of orders ready for delivery
Prepare and print courier labels
Receiving of incoming deliveries
Ensuring that the correct quantity of goods has been received and compare goods delivery notes with purchase orders
Store received goods as well as moving/organising of existing stock
Preparing and loading of goods onto van for delivery
Assist with stock checks and audits
Maintain a clean and safe working environment and adhere to health and safety regulations Increase knowledge of company products
Ensure effective communication with colleagues
£3.90 per hour
Monday to Friday
9am – 5pm

Minimum achieved Grade D or equivalent in English and Maths.
ICT TO Grade C or equivalent.
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.

Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
