This exciting role within the DXC Healthcare Delivery industry will involve the successful candidate rotating across the many disciplines that we have within our Healthcare delivery operation on a six-monthly basis.
Some of the disciplines, although not exhaustive, which the individual will experience are listed below. On completion of the Apprenticeship Scheme the individual will be able to understand the direction and the discipline that they wish to further their career in.
Project Management - You will undertake several assignments, working alongside experienced project management professionals, in various project and PMO environments for our diverse healthcare sector. Through practical experience of supporting & delivering projects using traditional and agile project management approaches we expect you to develop your skills in the management of project scope, cost, quality, resources, issue, risk, stakeholders and communications. You will be instrumental in the ongoing successes within Healthcare and actively contribute towards taking our customers on their digital transformation journeys.
Service Management- You will be required to work closely with our service organisation and assist in understanding the needs and requirements of the customer and ensure that we continue in our efforts to provide service excellence. This activity will involve you better understanding the full breadth of the ITIL methodologies, reporting mechanisms and directly working with all levels within both ours and our customers service operation.
Business Change - working closely with our project, implementation and Business Change teams you will be provided first-hand experience of working onsite at our Clients locations and working directly with the customers clinical organisations. You will get to understand the best working practices and how to get further benefits from our broad range of business applications.
Next Gen Digital Healthcare Offerings -Working closely with our in-house development teams you will look at understanding how we can better develop and deploy our latest suite of next generation digital offerings. Work closely with our customers on their needs and requirements. Put together metrics and reporting mechanisms as to how the benefits can be collated and quantified from the products being delivered.

- Keen learning interest in computers for both software and hardware
- Motivated to assist resolving tickets in a timely fashion
- Able to work both in a team but also individually for some tasks
- Experience of Microsoft products including Windows 7 operating systems and Office 2007 suite
- Able to communicate with employees of all levels
