The candidate will work within the IT development team creating new web-apps and automated systems and extending capabilities on existing systems to help drive improvements across the business. The candidate will be participating in a Scrum team and so it is important that they can understand requirements, communicate effectively and honestly with the team and manage their time efficiently.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
  • Develop new web applications for internal and external use using the MVC pattern
  • Create and support APIs utilising REST
  • Maintain applications and ensure their continued function
  • Extend and advance existing applications and websites with new features and requirements
  • Responsible for adhering to and maintaining proper data protection throughout all project and applications
  • Able and keen to keep up with new trends in technology and practices


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Some knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, C# and JavaScript
  • Interested in new web-based technologies
  • Working within regulatory frameworks such as the data protection act
  • Awareness of current and changing design principles
