The Software Development Apprentice will gain practical experience by supporting the team on key projects and programmes across the department. Working under supervision, you will help to source, develop, implement, maintain and support world- class technology. With a varied client base, you will need to be a natural problem solver, flexible, adaptable and be able to work on your own initiative.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
  • Learn a range of coding languages and put them into practice
  • Review current client systems
  • Maintain software systems
  • Front and Back end development
  • App design and development
  • Installation and testing of software

The role will require some knowledge or experience of;
  • Experience with fundamental front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JS, Python)
  • Familiar with server-side languages (Python, Ruby, Java)
  • Database knowledge (SQL)
  • WordPress knowledge ideal but not essential
