At Pearson, we're committed to a world that's always learning and to our talented team who makes it all possible. From bringing lectures vividly to life to turning textbooks into laptop lessons, we are always re-examining the way people learn best, whether it's one child in our own backyard or an education community across the globe. We are bold thinkers and standout innovators who motivate each other to explore new frontiers in an environment that supports and inspires us to always be better. Bypushing the boundaries of technology - and each other to surpass these boundaries - we create seeds of learning that become the catalyst for the world's innovations, personal and global, large and small.

The Centre for Industry Engagement is the hub for all industry engagement across College activities; both Pearson Business School and Escape Studios. Degree apprenticeships represent an important part of the College offer - currently just for the Business School but there are ambitions to expand to include Escape Studios. We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a specific remit to retain and grow our existing apprenticeship partnerships to best leverage our expertise in this area. Whilst the focus will be on the development of apprenticeship partnerships, the successful candidate will also need to ensure that other opportunities for industry engagement and revenue generation arising through BD activity are fully exploited in other aspects of College life.

?? Working with the Work Integrated Learning team and Academic teams to monitor satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery on contracts while helping employers reach their goals and ensuring a continued, positive, and profitable relationship

?? Maintaining currency and developing expertise in the trends and funding arrangements for degree apprenticeships and identifying opportunities for Pearson and its employer contacts to optimise their contribution to the Apprenticeship Levy

?? Ensure all Business Development activity is fully exploited in other aspects of College life: working with internal stakeholders on activities such as through the provision of internships, business workshops, industry events, guest speakers, mentors, research collaboration activities, course development input etc.

2. Conversion of new opportunities to contract implementation

?? Taking new apprenticeship opportunities through to successful contract closure and handing over to the Work Integrated Learning team

?? Ensuring conversion activity and upselling is as targeted and efficient as possible

?? Contribute to thought leadership events to generate a pipeline and further interest in the College, such as with NHS roundtable events held at PCL

3. Support and identification of additional revenue generating opportunities

?? Continued revenue idea generation from existing partnerships such as ad hoc funding applications

?? Developing Levy transfer solutions from existing or new employer relationships

?? Developing beneficial non conflicting partnerships with other tuition providers in terms of employers requiring other levels of apprenticeships

Essential Experience:

?? B2B Account management and sales expertise in Apprenticeships plus knowledge and expertise relating to the provision of degree apprenticeships in the UK, and apprenticeship programmes more widely

?? A high level of administrative expertise and proficiency in data management
