Apprenticeship Administration Co-ordinator

39.5 hours per week

Salary Range: GBP18,000 - GBP20,000 per annum


SP Training are a Carlisle based business delivering training and Apprenticeships in logistics and construction. We have grown significantly over the past 2 years and we are looking to recruit an Apprenticeship Administration Co-ordinator to join the wider team.
You will provide administrative and co-ordination support for our learners, work based learning team and employers in relation to Apprenticeships and Work Based Learning Programmes.

Duties include:-

  • Administration of all aspects of the "learner journey"
  • Input of all Individual Learner Record (ILR) information to ESFA
  • Inform the Audit and Compliance Officer that new cohorts have been inputted
  • Registration to Awarding Organisation of regulated qualifications including Functional Skills
  • Planning of Workshop/Classroom/ Delivery and processing joining instructions
  • Update internal tracking documentation as and when planning and activity has taken place
  • Plan and Monitor tripartite reviews including Gateway review with the relevant persons
  • Conduct tripartite reviews with employers and apprentices (where applicable)
  • Work collaboratively with programme managers/Tutors/Assessors/Associates to support a smooth learner journey for all
  • Prepare a monthly report for the Programme Manager and Head of Apprentices using the template provided


This opportunity would suit someone who has worked in administration previously and ideally in a highly regulated environment where compliance administration has formed part of their job role.You should possess the following skills / attributes:-

  • Excellent IT skills including Excel and MIS Platforms
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Educated to a minimum of level 2 in English and Maths
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident in dealing with people
  • Ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
