Job Role
As a Network Engineer Apprentice your main roles and responsibilities may include:
  • 1st line support
  • Managing customer networks
  • Integration to 365
  • working with bespoke Firewalls
  • Logging calls
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Talking the customer through a series of actions over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software issues
  • Assisting with the configuration and support of IP networks/systems

Desired qualifications

You will need at least GCSE C/4 grade or equivalent in bothmaths & English, and in three or four other subjects at least.

You will have completed ideally a Level 3 IT apprenticeship or at least a Level 3 BTEC and/or A level in ICT or haveexperience in a similar role.

Future prospects

Opportunity to gain experience on the job and work towards a Level 4 qualification in Network engineering.
