Job Details

Winebuyers is an online members club with a difference: they connect you directly to vineyards and specialist merchants from over 40 countries. They are now looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to join their team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching the industry and keeping on top of social media best practice, and also copywriting best practice
  • Managing and developing Winebuyers’ social media accounts overseen by the Marketing Manager - this will mean creative thinking and awareness of tone of voice. Platforms include Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin.
  • Confidence in copywriting is a must and proven experience writing blogs is desirable.
  • Looking after supplier marketing opportunities, so things like; contacting the vineyards for images and info, and ensuring these are promoted through social channels
  • Carefully keeping the supplier marketing spreadsheet up to date: e.g. whether we have sent them a marketing intro email / that we have received info / whether they’ve had a social mention…
  • Working directly with the PR agency to collect information on different themes for journalists
  • Bear in mind that the successful apprentice will be customer facing and will, therefore, have to ensure a very professional manner when calling and emailing the suppliers. This is something that should be stressed to the apprentice before starting.
  • The apprentice must be 18 or over and should be able to taste wine in the workplace which will be required from time to time, e.g. if religious reasons restrict alcohol consumption then the candidate will not be suitable for the position

Skills Required

  • Excellent writing skills and English.
  • Good communication
  • Experience in giving good customer service and confidence in talking to customers.
  • The ability to learn about our product and create engaging content surrounding it.

Company

At LDN Apprenticeships, we believe that young people are remarkable and that they have the potential to help businesses achieve remarkable things.

We’re here to help you start a career you will love. From our awesome Career Kickstarter events, to our brilliant digital apprenticeship programmes and our community of hundreds of ambitious apprentices – everything we do is designed to help you succeed.

9 out of 10 of our apprentices end up in full-time work or going to university once they’ve completed their apprenticeship. Many receive great pay rises during and after their apprenticeship and all take a huge step towards a brighter future and a brilliant, fulfilling career.

We believe that hiring young people based on a CV is wrong. Instead, we focus on helping people to harness their #EEWAP, and we structure our recruitment process around face to face interactions and a personal touch. We are passionate about breaking the norm and challenging how organisations recruit their future champions.

So what does #EEWAP mean?

E – Energy

E – Enthusiasm

W – Willingness to Learn

A – Ability to take Feedback

P – Propensity to take Action

If you think you’ve got #EEWAP, we think you’d make the perfect LDN Apprentice!
