Travel information

The role is currently based a ten minute bus-ride from Ramsgate town centre and a twenty minute walk from the train station.
Please note that the office will be re-locating to the Marlowe Innovation Centre over the next few months, a fifteen minute walk to the nearest bus stop.

 

Description of Vacancy

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, family run company that operates across London and the South East and feels very passionately about the work they do.

As the Apprentice Administrative Assistant you will be working closely with the office manager to help ensure the smooth-running of a very busy service.

Your role will be fast-paced and varied, equipping you with a broad range of administrative skills that will support you throughout your career.

It is anticipated that upon completion of the apprenticeship you will progress further within the company, into a more managerial role.

Please note that the office will be re-locating to the Marlowe Innovation Centre over the next few months.

 

Wage

£117 per week to start with but with clear scope to increase subject to performance

 

Hours

30 paid hours per week:

Monday – Friday 09:00 – 16:00

Includes an hour (unpaid) lunch break each day

 

Skills Required

The successful applicant should have good communication skills and be able to take a flexible approach to their work; knowing when to prioritise accordingly.

 

Personal Qualities

The successful applicant should be ambitious, keen to learn and passionate about this opportunity.

Offer of employment will be subject to a DBS and two reference checks.

 

Qualifications Required

Maths – GCSE Grade D / 3 minimum
English – GCSE Grade D / 3 minimum

 

Training Provided

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.

 

Important Information

Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
