This is a 3-month summer internship starting June 2020.

Jacobs across the UK is committed to early careers and in 2018 launched a new internship programme in several of its offices. This new programme is aimed towards undergraduates who are either currently studying for or have completed a principal degree and have a gap before starting a postgraduate course.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

To succeed in this role it is important that you feel comfortable writing reports as well as undertaking the technical economic modelling including cost-benefit analysis.Essential
    Our ideal candidate would be in their penultimate year studying towards 2:1 BSc in Finance or Economics or related field Have a keen interest in the economic analysis field as well as experience in the transport, infrastructure or natural resource sectors would be advantageous. Have a keen interest in policy analysis, investment appraisal and business case development would also be favourable. Have a keen interest in economics and are excited by the opportunities provided by a global multi-disciplinary consultancy, then we are keen to hear from you. You will join us in the summer period and join our community of interns under our programme called Jacobs Campus. This programme will allow you to work with a mentor who will work with you in identifying areas of learning so that when you leave you have a portfolio of learning experiences to refer to. There will also be opportunities to network through your community and other networks across Jacobs in various experiences that will be on offer general aspirations as a recognised inclusive and diverse employer.

Successful candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard Pre-Employment check and will be required to undergo various checks including: Identity, Right to Work; Employment/Education History and Criminal Record.
