We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer within our Water and Wastewater team based in Croydon. The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Jacobs are seeking talented graduate civil engineers to join our water and wastewater business in the UK. As a Graduate Engineer based in our Croydon office you will work with our Engineers to deliver projects and to support the development of the team. We additionally work in a collocated office with a key client in Snodland, Kent with ability to undertake secondments to that office a requirement of the role. Responsibilities associated with this post will include:
  • Undertaking technical and feasibility studies and investigations
  • Developing detailed designs
  • Supporting tendering procedures and putting together proposals
  • Compiling and checking reports

  • Drive to minimise and mitigate environmental, H&S risks throughout the delivery process.You will hold (or expect to graduate this year with) an accredited MEng in Civil Engineering, ideally at 2.1 or above. Relevant work experience would also be advantageous although not essential. We will also expect:
    • Strong Mathematical Skills
    • Strong Computer software skills
    • Strong team working capabilities
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Focus on results and project delivery


    Previous work experience in water / waste water team

    An interest in developing both technical and Project Management skills
