Coastal Rides LTD is family run business that has been trading for over twelve years, now operating from Dover Marina, where we carry out installations, engine and drive repairs, and servicing.


DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
Coastal Rides LTD is family run business that has been trading for over twelve years, now operating from Dover Marina, where we carry out installations, engine and drive repairs, and servicing.

Primary Duties include:
Locating parcels and parts
Inventory control
Removing parts from engine
Cleaning and painting parts
Packing parcels
Keeping work spaces safe and tidy
Making tea
Travel Information
There is free parking available.

While Coastal Rides is accessible by public transport, there is a small section of the road approaching the Port Shipping complex where there is no pavement. You will need to be cautious and aware of approaching traffic


WAGE
3.90 an hour.
Will be reviewed and potentially increased with performance.


HOURS
Monday – Friday 8:30-5:00
40 hour week
30 minute unpaid lunch

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
GCSE A-C


TRAINING PROVIDED
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
