    • A National Certificate/Diploma in a business related programme with a merit profile, or
    • A National Certificate/Diploma in a construction/engineering discipline with a merit profile
    • Minimum of 2 A-levels grade A-C in business-related subjects. Applicants also require 4 GCSE passes at grade C/4 or above (or their Level 2 equivalents), including maths and English
    Future prospects At the end of the apprenticeship you will move into a permanent role in the EDF Energy HPC Supply Chain team or within one of our Supply Chain partners with responsibility for managing your own portfolio of contracts. As your career develops there will be opportunities to progress further within your home organisation for EDF Energy this could be in the HPC Supply Chain team or you could explore opportunities across the wider project portfolio or within other areas of EDF Energy. For Supply Chain partner opportunities could be across the whole wider company portfolio. Things to consider The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour (£3.70 an hour on April 1st, 2018). This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds, £7.05 for anyone aged 21 to 24 and £7.50 for those over 25.
