Who are we looking for?

As our ideal Higher Apprentice Quantity Surveyor  you will need to be enthusiastic, well organised, and self-motivated.

You will have 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade C or above plus  80 UCAS points or equivalent at A /AS level

What might my programme entail?

As a Higher Apprentice QS, you will support the preparation of monthly valuations and financial accounts as well as assist in raising customer invoices driving the reduction of debit and costs.

You will also support in securing payments from customers within the specified contract terms and manage payment of sub contractors.

This role is part of a small commercial team with plenty of support available and opportunity to develop in this role.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Assist with measurement and valuation of works undertaken
  • Undertake training & education provided by Tarmac
  • Submit application for payment & insure that payment is received within agreed timescales
  • General assistance to the QS Department
