THE ROLE: .The role of Branch Sales Assistant based in Christchurch will report directly to the Branch Manager. You'll work within the branch in a customer facing role, serving on the trade counter and dealing with customers over the telephone, providing customer service that is second to none and maximising sales at every opportunity. You will be an advocate of our 'Stay Safe' culture.

Key responsibilities of the Branch Sales Assistant
Supporting the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager with achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimum margins.
Ensuring we maintain high standards, creating and maintaining a loyal customer base and providing a first class service.
Assisting with the general duties within the branch such as serving customers on the trade counter, telesales and ensuring the housekeeping standards are maintained both on the trade counter and warehousing.
You will be required to take on general driving duties when required.

7.30am - 5.00pm - Monday - Friday . You will also work every other Saturday 8.00 - 12.0pm.

There could be flexibility with working hours for the right candidate.

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the role of Branch Sales Assistant would not require any previous experience as this is all about the type of person you are. Product training can be taught.

Key experience essential for the Branch Sales Assistant role:
Live within a commutable distance of Christchurch
Full UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential
A positive attitude
Eager to learn
Previous experience is not essential
