An exciting opportunity has become available for a Trainee Claims Administrator to join a well established and successful insurance company in the Bolton area. This role is ideal for someone with office administration experience and is looking for career progression, as full training will be provided and there will be opportunities to progress onto a Claims Handler position.

The successful Trainee Claims Administrator will provide professional and efficient administration support to a team of Motor Claims Handlers.

Responsibilities include:

- Accurately upload new claims onto the Claims Management System
- Open and distribute incoming mail as appropriate
- Ensure incoming post is correctly attached to the Claims Management System
- Process basic repairs invoices
- Ensure cheque payment received are referenced and securely passed to the Finance department
- Dispose of paper records securely and within agreed timeframes
- Liaise with repairers, engineers and internal claims department
- Ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Office administration experience
- Good customer service skills
- PC literate - experience of MS Word, Excel and Outlook as minimum
- Strong team player
- Minimum 5 GCSEs at A-C grade including English and Maths
