Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
  • Developing software solutions as part of a team
  • Writing and maintaining technical and user documentation
  • Delivering well written, clean and testable code
  • Taking part in team meetings and discussions to design technical solutions
  • Shaping the direction of tech decisions within the team
  • Supporting junior engineers through knowledge sharing and code reviews
  • Ongoing communication/coordination with the client
  • Enthusiasm for problem solving, learning and sharing knowledge
  • Coding using Flutter software
  • Building database using Firebase software
  • Interface designing

  • We are developing an exciting Unity-based software platform for our custom Augmented Reality Head Mounted Display system
  • Work in the software team to develop Augmented Reality applications for our custom hardware (and additional future platforms) using Unity, external and custom libraries
  • Help in shaping the future structure, tech stacks and flow of the software
  • Work in a highly practical Research-and-Development and product-driven culture
  • Work with Hardware, Software, and Design teams to develop cutting edge products
  • Willingness to learn new things and to help out in other areas within the company when needed

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Mobile app experience in Flutter and Firebase
  • Proficiencies: HTML, CSS, SCSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with responsive web design
  • Passionate about building great products and user experiences
  • Desire to work in a young and fast-growing organisation
  • Proficient experience with CMS, particularly WordPress
  • Understanding of UX and front-end coding to produce and develop beautiful products
  • Mobile App Development (Flutter) and Web App development
  • Knowledge of server management and database infrastructure with clean coding and best practices
  • Array of previous projects and portfolio
  • Knowledge of security and encryption best practices as well as safe and GDPR compliant data storage
  • Excellent working knowledge of Eclipse and C
  • Realtime embedded software development
  • Knowledge of embedded programming of firmware - for PSoC, arduino and ESP32 and OTA
  • Digital Signal Processing software and algorithm development
  • Analogue and digital hardware design
  • Design for production/testability, functional test equipment development
  • Array of previous projects and portfolio
  • Knowledge of security and encryption best practices as well as safe and GDPR compliant data storage
  • Strong assessment skills
  • Strong communication skills with people at varying levels
