Via currently has 2 fantastic opportunities to join our Performance and Quality Team as an ApprenticeProject Manager based at our Trent Bridge House office in West Bridgford.
Within your role you will support the Continual Improvement Project Managers in managing work packages and smaller projects to support the delivery of an ongoing programme of company-wide improvement. Along with gaining practical skills in project management you will develop your communication and liaising skills, so you can effectively engage with colleagues, including internal and external stakeholders.

Within your role you will support the Continual Improvement Project Managers in managing work packages and smaller projects to support the delivery of an ongoing programme of company-wide improvement. Along with gaining practical skills in project management you will develop your communication and liaising skills, so you can effectively engage with colleagues, including internal and external stakeholders.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Project manage work packages and smaller projects to support the delivery of an ongoing programme of company-wide improvement
- Manage defined small projects and work packages on behalf of identified managers, to deliver agreed outputs, outcomes and benefits
- Manage all elements of your apprenticeship, (including tracking and achieving the 20% off the job element) in line with quality and timescale requirements to achieve the apprenticeship programme
- Engage with staff regarding suggestions made through the 'Make A Difference' scheme, to promote healthy staff engagement, constructive suggestions and good decision making
- Demonstrate skills and processes as the training period progresses by working independently or with the team, to undertake tasks as instructed and increasing overall contribution to the team
- Develop your communication and liaising skills so you can effectively deal with colleagues, including internal and external stakeholders

- Good, clear, concise communication skills
- Full driving licence, valid in the UK to travel between sites
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to break down project objectives into manageable work packages, and to interpret data, reports and issues to draw meaningful conclusions
Personal qualities
- Demonstrable experience of supporting projects, improvements and/or business change, and an understanding of some causes of success or failure of these
- Ability to motivate self, work on own initiative, and persevere against obstacles
- Ability to work as part of a team, and engage constructively with colleagues at all levels
Desired qualifications
- 5 GCSEs at Grade A*-C/9-4, or equivalent, and demonstrable evidence of further development, either academically or in the workplace
- Level 2 English and Maths functional skills qualifications or be willing and able to achieve this before completing the apprenticeship. GCSEs are an equivalent Level 2 qualification
- A minimum of A-Levels where you have achieved good results showcasing ability and knowledge in chosen area
