Job Title: Business Administrator Apprentice

Location: Brighton

Salary: GBP16k depending on experience

Full time: Monday-Friday

Our client is looking for an apprentice to join their office team as an Apprentice Administration Assistant. You will get a good level of support and training and will get introduced to the wide and varied tasks and functions of the office environment.

They have a busy office that supports the business activity and a team of two, who provide a full range of office support functions, such as; Finance, HR, Marketing as well as the normal day to day routine tasks of general administration.

Provide administration support
Assist with maintenance of the CRM (Zoho One) contacts, leads and sales tracking
Administer the Project Information Management System (PIMS) and ensure full compliancy with quality and environmental standards (ISO9001 & ISO14001)
Data entry onto our Energy Management System
General administrative duties

Responsibilities

Prepare/produce presentations, forms, records, reports and other material as required, adhering to quality standards: laminating; binding etc.
Typing, formatting and proofing of documents.
Act as the first response for telephone and email queries, redirecting where necessary to relevant parties.
Assist with maintenance of client contact database (ZoHo One) ensuring client and company details are up to date.
Assist with maintenance of QMS - from project set up to close down including updating history log weekly and sending project forms i.e. initiation and sign off forms.
Produce agendas and action logs of company meetings
Assist with the management of diaries and organisation of meetings, providing any necessary documentation, both internally and externally.
Provide support to Head of Business Administration & Head of Finance and Compliancy.
Organise travel and accommodation arrangements.
Shredding, filing, photocopying and any additional ad hoc admin required.
Dealing with Post on arrival: open, date stamp, scan into the system and pass to the relevant individual.
Provide reasonable ad hoc support to the wider group of companies as and when required and priorities and time allows. This may include absence cover for the other administration posts.
Help with general housekeeping of the office environment.

Good ability in the use of Microsoft Office software, particularly word.
Ability to use databases in general, specific training will be provided

GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths

Potential to progress into a permanent role after successful completion of the apprenticeship programme
